Here are a few samples of what our happy clients have to say about Millennium Landscaping, Inc:
|
I recently had a fairly sizeable home landscape project completed. This included:
- Moving an existing retaining wall
- Installing a new retaining wall
- Regarding (leveling) a portion of my yard
- Installation of a new lawn, front & back
- Installation of new trees & plants, included a 18 tree privacy hedge
- Installation of a 6 zone sprinkler system
- Stone patio, fence & gate work
I got 4 bids for this work. Dean at Millennium was the 2nd lowest priced bid. The reason I chose him was he impressed me with his extremely eager to please customer service attitude.
The end result was very good and the work met and/or exceeded my expectations in virtually all aspects. In particular:
- Superior customer service. As the work progresses, I made a few changed to the design.
Dean took it all in stride, implementing those changes as we went. He re-did some work that I changed my mind on without complaint. In general, I was a pretty high-maintenance customer and Dean was always available for me. Dean was on-site personally just about every day to oversee the work of his crew.
- Started on date they promised, finished early and under budget. We had a $3000 plant
budget and we ended up spending only about $2,200 of it. He credited the $800 back to me which I decided to re-allocate to building a stone patio.
- Worked weekends to get the job done on time. I added an unplanned project to the work
scope and worked on a Saturday to get it complete.
- His crew was courteous and cleaned up reasonably each night. My 4 year old son ventured
out into the yard a few times as he could not resist participating in all the digging. They let him dig around with a shovel and were very accommodating and friendly with him.
All in all, a positive experience. I also hired him to do the ongoing yard maintenance for a very reasonable price.

I just want to add more kudos to Dean and his team at Millennium. They built a long, curvy retaining wall in our backyard (about 50’ long x 2’ tall) in December (the week before Christmas none the less-on cold, rainy weather), constructed from a material called Pisa II. The wall turned out beautifully, we had a couple of snags along the way, mainly because my husband, a mechanical engineer, is incredibly precise and had them rebuild certain sections a couple of times ( I would imagine this level of standard is not atypical for Microsoft clients).
Despite the fact that we are “picky” clients and that Pisa II was difficult to work with given the design of our wall. Dean took it all in stride and maintained a great attitude, never threw any “hidden charges” on us, or any of the other sneaky tricks contractors sometimes pull. Our neighbors even commented on how thoughtful they were throughout the week it too to build the wall-no loud radios, they did not block driveways, did not make a big mess (there were pallets of Pisa II and a pile of fill dirt in our driveway for a few days) and then cleaned everything up spic-and-span at the end.
We were so pleased with Millennium that we’re going to ask them to do more work on our lawn and plantings over the spring and summer.
